Okay, you just finally ditched Windows, and you are ready to dive into Linux. However; some people has came up with different uses for their Linux machines. That can range from game development to regular use of a machine,–including business use.

Currently, I am using my Ubuntu machine to work on my website, and develop gamebooks and other good things.

You Still Need 1 Windows Computer… Despite Owning Linux Machines

Okay, I am still experimenting with one of my computers that requires a specific OS that is designed to run a specific machine. I do have 3 Linux machines, but I’ve converted one of them back to Windows because, I may need it for other uses. I am currently using my 2-in-one PC as a dedicated machine torun Hideout TV and other apps, but this machine is designed to only use Windows as a prefered OS. It’s okay to have so many Linux machines, but you need at least 1 Windows machine to do other things. However; I’ll discuss about why you still need a Windows machine.

Backup Your Data Before Installing Ubuntu On Your Computer

Okay, you are changing out your OS on your fresh computer… but you have a different computer that is still operational, but slowing down. You were sick of windows, and you were sick of Microsoft taking control of your machine. You were considering linux. However; you may need to backup your files and data.

With the advances of software and browsers; we can backup our files in the cloud. If you only store files in the cloud; you can still access them via your browser. However; if you don’t have these online cloud services with your device, or you were just using your computer like a traditional computer user… you may need to backup your files before installing Ubuntu Linux on your PC.
