For our best experience; we need to ensure our readers’ privacy is respected as a way to protect our independence. Use of ad networks will be reduced by 75% as a way to help our website run faster, and help to reduce clutter. Here are the following what we are reconfiguring:
How Our Ads Work
Each time… you see our ads what we host ourselves; you will see a heading “Our Independent Advertisements Promoted By Our Local Communities”, “Our Independent Ads”, “Local Ads In Your Area”, or “Independent Ads”.
Running Independent Ads
That’s right!! Independent ads are independent from being hosted via ad networks. Most of these ads are text-based,–with an image (if available) are posted by our independent advertisers who wanted to advertise our website. Independent advertisers always have control of their ad content; we ensure these ads are properly targeted by using our ad server that is specially programmed without use of BIG ad networks by BIG tech. Having a small independently ran ad server enables us to use common sense as we sell ad zones for advertisers who wanted to advertise on our websites. Unlike using BIG ad networks; we use our own servers in house.
When an independent advertiser posts an ad on our website via a form, or an invoice sent to an advertiser; we can easily monetize our website with ease.
No independent ad has a tracking pixel included because, they can take system resources.
Each ad is tagged as “Independent” as a way to enable customers who read our website to have ads that are low in resources, and doesn’t require other functions.
Spring Cleaning To Remove Scripts For Monetization That Aren’t Reliable
If you recently read posts on our family of websites, we used Share-A-Holic as a form of monetization method for years, but we haven’t got any reliability of this platform because, some of our readers don’t want to see ads that invade their privacy. We take privacy very seriously, and we are trying to find a way to ensure we are getting a fair share of ad revenue as we run this website. We are going to replace it with LibraPay as a way to remove potentially-invasive commercial advertisements,–due to bad actors who are using ad networks to spread misinformation, misleading advertisements, bigoted corporations, illegal monopolies, racist advertisements, etc.
We believe these ads from ad networks are a problem for Fairies Dreams & Fantasy. Keeping our site free for readers is our primary goal, but with all of the struggling customers who DON’T want to spend more money; we need to increase independence of our website, and find other methods of monetizing our sites.
Removal Of Share-A-Holic
Starting On April 1st, 2025; Share-A-Holic will be removed from our family of website, except for parts of our websites that may require them for monetization that is meaningful,–if there’s a possibility. However; the following websites what we own will no longer have Share-A-Holic implemented during our official cleanup:

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Itself
Fairies Dreams & Fantasy is no longer going to display ads from Share-A-Holic as a way to begin our cleanup and switch to a sustainable forms of monetization, and rely on our own ad servers to serve our own ads. This is necessary to help combat monopolies, gain independence, and ensure Fairies Dreams & Fantasy is lightened for years to come. Connection to WordPress.com will not be removed as a way to ensure we have a proper effort of making our content easy to reach around the world.
Too many ads isn’t a good thing, we have to ensure we have actual content because, content is king as we write stories that are meaningful! For this instance; we write about an adventure with a pink fox in a garden, and an ad displays a promotion of gardening tools.
We supposed to have sustainable source of revenue from this monetization platform, but we discovered this platform is not going to be used on our primary website.

By the end of April; this feature will be removed from this website because, we believe this platform uses too much resources on our website. However; this news site is going to have an alternative that is going to be used for alternatives to ad networks that often use your data for illegal uses, and trick anyone with bad forms of trickery. We coined this problem as “advertrickery”… and we are trying our effort to ensure corruption, and other forms of trickery has been removed from this website. Being associated with Babylon is such a bad thing, and we are trying to ensure we get ourselves out of a world of corruption. With a rise of corruption, and high rates of gun violence; we need to ensure we keep gun ads away from our websites by 400%.
However; ads displaying sexualized products, erotic services, sex shops, and other forms of “erotrickery” will NOT be allowed on Fairies Dreams & Fantasy’s servers under any circumstances. We oppose allowing anal and oral sex, we don’t allow this on our servers because, its disgusting, and not worth doing.

The Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Wiki
Our own wiki will have Share-A-Holic removed,–prior to March 21st. This is the first of our cleanup as we part away from this platform, and sunset this plugin usage as a way to help free up our server space. However; use of this monetization platform will be moved to a different domain, and we will implement it on a paid platform that is going to be focused on mermaids instead.
Ad zones will be reconfigured as a way to ensure we use independent ads to monetize our website.

Share-A-Holic will be removed as a way to ensure we amp up independence, and remove potentially-invasive advertisements,and help speed up browsers that can’t handle ads that hog RAM space on computers. We understand ads keep our websites what we run for our customers free of charge! With ALL of that corruption, and corporate greed, we need to ensure corporate greed is reduced, and we gain more independence.
With ALL of that misunderstanding; we decided to phase out use of this plugin as a way to speed up our servers to reduce time for browsers loading content.
Goodbye VigLink
VigLink will no longer be used on our website,–due to concerns regarding malicious redirects, malvertising, links to pirate websites, and more.
If you were recently purchasing products from affiliate links; these links will be removed as a way to free up content that doesn’t need affiliate links that are either not worth inserting, or if any of these links appear to be broken. This plugin will be removed as a way to help reduce clutter on our website.
Removing HCaptcha
We use Match Captcha as a way to sharpen accessibility for people who use screen-readers to solve equations to verify if they’re human. This is necessary to help fight issues with these platforms that are NOT doing their job, or use any kind of trickery to make customers experience difficult. Well, I experienced this issue. Sometimes, these platforms won’t work than you expected to do so.

Removing AdRotate
Beginning on May; Mermaids Oceans & Fantasy is going to have this ad banner system implemented as a way to ensure we transition these plugins that are not reliable to a different platform.
AdRotate will be removed from Fairies Dreams & Fantasy as a way to help free up disks, and ensure we remove most of these items that are hogging up our resources.
Implementing LibraPay
If you recently visited Fairies Dreams & Fantasy, we implemented a new LibraPay donation banner for anyone to make a donation via PayPal, or Stripe. However; we are doing our best to ensure we have the best experience with our customers who enjoy reading our website. We are still setting up our page, but you can make a donation,–if you want to.
Removing Other Features That Are No Longer Needed
Although; some people may be upset because of these features that are removed, but we need to keep essential features what we need on this website.
