Although; if you were running your wiki site via WordPress; and you forgot to disable comments… spammers often try to clog your site with these comments that don’t have a specific meaning. You just kept writing your posts like usual. However; you must’ve forgot to remove these spam comments. If you didn’t remove them; your site’s database will be clogged,–causing your server costs to go up.

WordPress Magic: Turn Off Comments Feature When You Run Your Install Of WordPress As A Wiki

Recently; I decided to rebuild my wiki on my VPS. I diconnected my wiki from my multisite as a way to declutter my entire website, and ensure I have a dedicated instance of WordPress. Well, this is my experiment as a way to keep spam comments from flooding my wiki pages.

Nobody like spam comments because, they’re NOT relevant at all, and in some cases; they may post links to phishing websites, and unsafe websites that are designed to harm your computer.

Dealing With Irate Users On Your Website

Are your customers irate on your website. For this instance, you offered subscriptions because, you rarely write content on your website as a way to entertain your customers who taken your service for granted. However; not all customers are equal.

Well, what’s the point about customers? They use your services to support your work, and consume your content. You as a facilitator who facilitate publishing content on a regular basis, and you rely on your customers who subscribe to your services. And some customers are loyal, and they leave feedback as you publish content for other customers. To me… having customers on your website is awesome,–except for these examples of customers who were irate, and cause your reputation to go down.

Even Anti-Spam Measures Can Be Circumvented By Professional Spammers!

As I was about to write a next post on my website via WordPress, I encountered some mysterious comments, and there’s no possibility to figure out who left a reply on my post. I did have my anti-spamming tools installed,–helping to protect my multisite against spam comments, website usage, and spam social links posted on my social networking site. If you encountered this issue, most likely, bots are now capable of going around varification mechanisms, and post unsolicited content to your website, and your multisite network. Your robots.txt file isn’t immuned to these bad bots at this time. Spammers often use hosting providers to send spam to your website with automated software or scripts what they’ve developed. Professional scammers often mask their IP addresses, and even encrypt their sites to prevent detection by their own hosts. WordPress users may experienced this issue, and you may need to implement reputable anti-spam software to keep spambots at bay!

An Advert Plugin Hasn’t Been Updated For Some Years… This Plugin Has Been Closed Because WordPress Guidelines Has Been Violated

If you were finding an ad-managing plugin that enables you to monetize your website with your way, and cut away a middleman? Advert was a plugin that was developed by Jeremy Norths. I stumbled upon this plugin when I was finding a plugin to manage my own ads. Typically; this plugin relies on PayPal; a prefered payment platform chosen by a developer. However; this plugin enables you to add custom payment platforms to it. It was advertised as free, and it doesn’t have premium features to pay for. I tried out this plugin, and it supposed to be updated on a regular basis.

As I took a look of the documentation; it doesn’t have any relevant articles available to get help with this software. Although; this software is open-source, that enables you to modify it.
