Linux users who rely on Linux as an alternative to Windows are less likely to have their sites infected. Most Linux users who choose to blog on their websites with Linux running are able to blog safely. However; if you have Wine installed, it’s a different story!

If you use Windows to post content on your website via static html, or a CMS like WordPress, you may need to run anti-malware software each week, or each day to protect your files and your data.
