Okay, you bought yourself an affordable Android TV box, and it’s branded as Junmao. This is an generic brand of a TV box. However; you were about to run Pluto TV on your device, and an app crashes. If this is the case, after you configured your device, there’s a setting what you need to change.

I’ve currently own an Android TV box with 64 GB of storage; 4 GB of RAM; an ethernet port, wireless network capability (2.4 to 5.0 GHZ, HDMI port, AV jack, and it’s compact.

Using Pluto TV On My Device

As I installed Pluto TV on my device, and activate it; it just crashed after opening. However; I worked around this problem by using their official website. Unfortunately, my browser must perform some hard work.

There is no wonder why Pluto TV crashed… it’s not the device doing it… I decided to investigate and find out why this app kept crashing.

I’ve removed this app, and reinstalled it to my device.

As I scrolled down the list of apps on my settings app; and opened Pluto TV and adjusted the UI mode to “Normal”.

As I relaunched it; it was working now. Well, I’ve never used UI mode before, but it helped me experience Pluto TV without needing to go to their website.

Go To Your Settings App

Activate your settings icon and choose “Apps” to display your list of installed apps. Activate “show all apps”, if you can’t see Pluto TV, scroll down the list.

Adjust Settings For Pluto TV

Activate Pluto TV and scroll down to “”UI Mode”.

At the UI Mode switcher screen, choose “Normal” or “Desk”. Choose normal for the best results.

Reopen Pluto TV To Test

Close your other apps and activate Pluto TV. Confirm if the app will not crash.

If your app works, you are ready to watch your favorite channels on Pluto TV.

Issues with a “Television” mode for Pluto TV Itself

This UI isn’t designed for Pluto TV, but a normal UI helps. If you forget to change the UI, you may need to change it because, that works the best for Pluto TV.
