Many webmasters who are exclusively pornstars wanted to host their websites on GreenGeeks, a green hosting provider… but what’s stated on their TOS page: “Porn is not suitable for our services.” And many webmasters who wanted to publish porn content on their websites to grow their audience, and make money. However, the porn industry is a highly addictive market to many viewers who were addicted to porn. That’s why GreenGeeks don’t want any porn on their servers. This is one example of a family-targeted hosting platform.
Why they don’t allow porn on their servers?
As I chatted with the experts, if you had porn on your website, your account may be suspended, or your content will be removed. Sometimes, publishing porn is addictive too! However most pornstars don’t like this policy because, it infringes their right to publish their content with their liking. And they believe this policy violates the rights of a porn webmaster who is actually a pornstar. Currently, there was a battle between a family-friendly content, and porn content. And many of these erotic webmasters has been fighting to get their accounts back, and their websites back. Since I don’t support the porn industry, there’s nothing I can do for all pornstars.
GreenGeeks has this policy because, we help cut porn addiction, cut the porn industry, prevent teenagers from viewing pornographic content, prevent spread of STDs, and prevent distribution of child pornography!
If you are a pornstar, GreenGeeks isn’t right for you… you have to find a different host who will support your content being hosted on their servers, or you can build your own hosting company from scratch.
As I surf the web, I stumble upon some forums discussing about their experience when their sites has been taken down by a hosting company who don’t support the porn industry. Most of the hosting platforms have these policies that work the same,–just like what I’m mentioning now.
Some People Have These Questions:

[FAQ] Why Did My GreenGeeks Account Is Terminated After Publishing Pornography?
Many pornstars are upset when their hosting accounts has been terminated for no reason, and they believed their accounts has been removed from servers. If you had a backup of your information, you can find a different host; if you were trying to get your account back; you may need to speak to your attorney who you trust,–and issue a court-order to get your account back. Like what we mentioned above, GreenGeeks has the right to remove porn from their website, and terminate your account. Since GreenGeeks is a hosting company… they have rights too. Here is why your account can be terminated:
-
Distribution of Child Pornography
Your account may be terminated for distribution of child pornography because, this is the top policy violated by porn addicts, sex predators, and sex traffickers. if you were been using GreenGeeks for distributing child pornography; you may be reported to your local law enforcement. And once you are charged for child porn, you may be end up registering as a sex predator.
-
Pornography
This is the another policy violated by users. Never use GreenGeeks to host pornography.

[FAQ] What Should I Do If My Website Is Suspended?
This is common if you were just publishing porn each day. This is an example of a consequence when violating policies on most hosting services.
You woke up this morning, and you have a notification about your porn website that was recently removed, and you have to find a way to host your content somewhere outside of your primary website. If you are recently a pornstar, you are most likely to have your website removed. This is common for most website owners who make lots of money via subscriptions that are so expensive. If this is the case, you may need to hire an external hosting company to host your erotic content for you. But you have to find a different hosting company who is willing to host your content,–if you are a porn star.
What states in GreenGeeks’s TOS page, pornography is not suitable for their servers. If you wanted to host that kind of a content, this service will not work for you. If you are an erotic author who writes erotica, you may need to be careful when you post content on your website.
This is why GreenGeeks have this policy against pornography:
Pornstars do have rights, but finding a reliable host for their content is a difficult task done each day.
What you should do?
Don’t publish pornography.
Publish family-friendly content.
Educate other webmasters why you should avoid pornography.
If you are a reseller, be sure to publish your TOS page for some people to read with details.
